2. Structure, governance and management
The charity is governed by its constitution and regulated by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. The trustees are responsible for the governance, management and strategic direction of the charity. No trustee received remuneration or reimbursement of expenses during the year.
3. Objectives and activities
The charity’s objects are to advance charitable purposes for the public benefit. During the year the charity did not undertake charitable programmes, grant-making or public fundraising activities.
4. Financial review
During the financial year the trustees introduced £9,713 to the charity’s bank account to meet essential administrative and banking costs while the charity remained inactive. Total expenditure for the year amounted to £216, consisting entirely of bank charges. At the year end unrestricted funds of £9,497 were held as cash at bank.
5. Reserves policy
The trustees did not adopt a formal reserves policy due to the limited level of activity during the year.
6. Risk management
The trustees have assessed the risks faced by the charity and consider exposure to financial and operational risk to be minimal.
7. Plans for future periods
The trustees will keep the charity’s position under review and ensure appropriate governance and financial controls are implemented.
8. Trustees’ responsibilities statement
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and financial statements in accordance with applicable law.
