ACTIVITIES ACHIEVEMENTS & PERFORMANCE
The Foundation's fa¢e lo face fundraising aclivits'es continues to be impacted by the cost of Ilving
crisis. However, this has be¢n almost entifely mitigated by 8pon$orship from local bu$in&s5es.
¢lubs and societles as well a$ through significant grant funding received from grant giving trusts
and foundattons, The Big Lottery, The Poslcode Lottery and The Youlh Endowment Fund.
We contlnue to work 8var c108er with local key agencies such as the Wesl Mldlands Violence
Reductlon Parknership and The Office of The Police & Crime Commissioner, which has also
resulted in increased opportunlt60$ for grant fvnding. More ￿entlY we have developed a
collaborative working relation$hlp wth our local authority, which we are anticipating will result in
provlding them with a commlssloned youth semce and wrlh key local charities, al grass roo18
level to Strengthen and broaden the reach of our services.
The Foundation conllnues to develop an excellent reputation for our slralegic multi-faceted
approach lo tackling seriou8 youth violence, whlch is wilnes8ed through slgnifi¢anlly Sncreas8d
demand for our services and More recenuy for our Input into government policy on the preventlon
of knlfe crlme.
Demand for our'Full Circle, programme, partrcularly withln education, Is fvrther extending
opportunits'&s lo traln professionals to deliver within their own settings and as a result, we are
actively developing an on-line training platform for the programme. lo create natlonal acxess to
training whlch will result In the creation of a further regLtlar Income stream. Hand in hand with IhSs
Inuea8ed demand for face lo face training, are recelving Increased demand for our one lo
one mentoring servlce lo at risk or offendlng Ghildren and young people, our impactfvl positive
outcomes from thls work is further enhancing our reputation for our evldènce based hollslc

and pain of loss due to knife crlme. It is our aspiration thal. these matters be glven the
gravity today, so that they can be consigned to history, tomorrow.

The Foundation plans to continue its strategy, to raise awareness of all issues Surrounding
serious youth violence, through engagement with all media, Sncluding the development of our
YouTube channel and podoasting, to encourage families and profés$ionals with
responsibllltles for young people, lo be vigilant and proactNe in their care.

We shall continue to work closely wth key agencies. and professionals, to expand our reach
and profile and to develop the use of The James Brindley Full Circle Programme as a unique
and effective way to tackle the root causes of youth offending.
Grant funding will continue to be furKlamental to financing our development but wlll be
augmented through annual face to face fundraisers, such as a youth awards evening, a local
village fete. This will be fijrther augmented by marketing lo local business for specific child
and youth projects as part of an increasing landscape corporate social responsibillty.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Revlew of the Financlal Perfod
The principle sources of income from the company's charitable activities are generated by
ndraising & grants.

Reserves

reserve$ are considered sufficient to guarantee the provision of uninlerrupled semces lor the
forth¢omiro year.
The trustees have continued to hold regular meetings during the year to Monitor to fiscal positK)ns
of the Asso¢lation.
