Cylch Meithrin Dolwerdd is a Welsh medium playgroup (Cylch Meithrin) that runs sessional and full day care for 2-4 year old children, within the area of Greenmeadow, Cwmbran.The setting is located on the premises of an English medium primary school, in a purpose-built classroom with its own facilities. |

Para 1.20 | The aim of Cylch Meithrin Dolwerdd is to provide sessional and full day care through the Welsh medium to local parents and carers, providing them with the opportunity to use our services for their childcare needs. During their time at the Cylch, the children have the opportunity to play, carry out activities, and listen to stories and songs through the medium of Welsh, which helps them to develop their Welsh language skills at an early age. We offer a high standard of care in a friendly and welcoming environment, which is set out to reflect the areas in line with the curriculum to support and enhance the children’s learning and development. The Cylch was first opened during a challenging time, however after successfully employing suitably qualified staff we have attracted families and children to our setting. The Cylch has continued to grow, with more children attending through Flying Start due to them expanding their catchment area. Both staff and Trustees are working closely together to increase numbers further over the coming year, with a focus on advertising and promotion. |
