As part of the Churd) of En8land ICOE) the Purorhiolalurch Councilof the EcclesioticolPortsh of Eostleigh serve5 the
people of our town. For centuries the COE has offered hdp at times of both great celebration and trernendous sadne5S. a5

our faith in the resurrection ol Jesus Christ 15 still the same as Tt has a￿l￿s been. See www.eastleighpartsh.com. Our
Missim forthe next stage of EPC remains: to be d￿1pleM￿knng dwples and our Wision is.. to be acommunityof

Our Ml551on output ￿ central to who we a￿. In 2023 sw the steady rectr4ery of c#Jr mrssI￿al outputs after COVID aNI

focused on mlsslonal attNity Ithe Parish Har5hip Fund. the funds avallable forthe fecruitmentof our Chiklren's and
Families Minister, the funds to ￿Shape Lady Chapel to support mission and the Overseas Mi55ion fvndl. The numbers
in this report just reflect the finanoal aspects, but other missional dirett wor* indudes prayer, pastoral support and

Christian faith, as well a5 children orientsteil services both to intrc4Yuce the Christrdn faith and to support care-gNers in
bringin8 up children. Abr0¢7d. our rnain Mission partnors are in Guatemala. Israel and Uganda. Support to the Israeli Work
has been through praypx and a donatlon to humanitarian work in supportof the gospel there,. and our support forthe
Christian medical missionaries (currently orn fudough from Guatemala) saw continued impThements in their son's health.
Our Ugandan link is investing In the gospel and longterm food 5ecurlty. all a5 Part of the wkler mlsslon of thè thurch.
Sadly we could find no replacement for our child￿￿5 and Families. mlnister in 2023. We thankthose who continue to 8we
in support of this work. The term-time. vdunteÈr4>a5ed rninistry to children stsrted in 2022 continues and attracts
between 15 and 50 people each week. We thank them.
Our FeHtx¥shlp output ts athiÈved throu8h communlty, and Is stren8thenln8 as thevlcarfs health retovers and vdunteers

The &ving of health affirming communi￿ has continued in chufth and at home.
Our support outputs ccwer the administration of the church an(1 the running of the buildings. as a wltnÈS5 to Christ and for
revenue. This voluntsry work is lar¥ety by PCC members and the PCC minutes show tts agreement regularly to remunerate
the unending office work Iwhich the Charity Commission allcws US to dol. but because of Its size and 1mptsrtan￿, when
headroom allows. we will seek a paid admintstrator. However. support aCtiV￿e5 cantK>t bè seen in On￿ finan(ial terms, so
muth is donp bphind the scenes. We thank those volunteers.
Over¥lew
Eastleigh Parish has been delighted in 2023 with the inuernental ￿tUrn to health of ourvicarand with the
crnimltment of its volunteers, both of whosè quiet work underpins so much of what we report as outputs abcwÈ. The
have also been green shoots of grthvth.. increased attendance at outreath events. and the arrival of new and committed
people whojoin us in seeking the help of Christ and the Scriptures to rwiBate an increasingty relativistic wodd. All our
ccmmunity has faced a demandln8 national posmon with five rises in the Bank of England Base Rats Ifrom 3.5 to 5.25%)
and rises in utilties costs squeezing donor5 and hi￿rS in 2023.
So we look, prty and m(y4feforward. The asplrat*)ns of the 2021 APCM remain: the Misshin forthe next stage of EPC is to
be dKiplemoknng disci￿ and its Vislon to be ocommunftyof dixi*ship groups. WÈ m(we onl
