## **ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE**

2023/24 was a challenging year with the cost-of-living crisis and its impact on the economy following covid - The year presented a higher rate of unemployment and struggles, especially for young people who were still adjusting to some normalcy,

mentally, economically, and academically. The uncertainty about future prospects drove a lot more of them into anti-social activities, causing losses and concerns within the communities.

However, this year we strategically positioned our activities to provide maximum support to our beneficiaries. ( **See below some of our achievements in photos** ):

- We expanded our activities and programmes to increase flexibility, extending our reach to support a broader range of youth institutions and unemployment groups such as secondary schools and Job Centres.

## **Empower4success (E4S) team recruiting customers at a local Job Centre.**

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- We collaborated with faith groups, youth organizations, and local institutions to expand our community reach, recruit more mentors, and engaged families where possible, for sustainable outcomes.

- We established a physical activity space to allow for face-to-face mentoring and the use of digital resources for those without access to computers, and most importantly, to foster community cohesion and camaraderie.

## **E4S in-house activity space: ‘Play & Learn’ activities + Face 2 face mentoring.**

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- We upgraded our online training platform with innovative AI features to enhance the learning experience **(See our website for more details).**

## **Conclusion**

The charity experienced a year of growth, expanding our reach and successfully exploring new territories. We utilized Emotional Intelligence (EI) tools and techniques to combat mental stress and enhance emotional wellbeing. The CIO partnered with other charities that offered wellbeing support to their communities, such local faith ministries, and community groups. Much emphasis was on supporting people to adjust mentally and physically to stem the growing surge of anti-social activities on the streets.

We extend our profound gratitude to our funders, partners and dedicated mentors. The charity’s main funders include Milton Keynes Community Foundation and National Lottery Community funds. Other sponsors and partners include, The Local Council, Milton Keynes Tabernacle, Google, Wenta, CIPD and a few private sponsors. We look forward to your continued support as we work together to build a stronger community.
