I have examined the attached charity accounts for the club year ending 30[th] June 2024
The accounts agree with bank statement and vouchers presented to me.
I have not come across any matters which need to be raised either in relation to the accounting records kept or to the content of the accounts.

President’s Report
President’s Report
I was President from Ist July 2024 until 30[th] June 2025. All accounts shown below continue to show healthy balances despite our declining membership numbers.
Our Charity Account is still showing increasing income from our Wallasey Lions Charity Book Shop, and this is due to the unstinting work put in by the members and the loyalty from our customers who continue to support us.
Our Christmas sleigh also provided magnificent income yet again and thanks go once more to our own membership plus volunteer groups who assisted us, and especially the generosity of our wonderful local community.
A new Charitable Organisation is still being sorted to continue the Book Shop after our closure before January 2026.
We have also decided that we will instigate the Golden Anniversary Award, which is hoped will help disadvantaged young people and be a legacy to perpetuate the name of Wallasey Lions Club. We hope to find an appropriate recipient within the next 6 months.
