I have examined the attached charity accounts for the club year ending 30[th] June 2024 

The accounts agree with bank statement and vouchers presented to me. 

I have not come across any matters which need to be raised either in relation to the accounting records kept or to the content of the accounts.

## **President’s Report** 

## **Wallasey Lions Club** 

**I was President from 1 st July 2023 to 30 th June 2024. I note that all accounts** 

**show a healthy balance, especially the Charity Fund Account. This is down in part to** 

**The Wallasey Lions Charity Book shop increasing its income each year from loyal and new customers in the Wallasey Region. Customers always come back because of our very competitive prices. Current membership of the club is now sadly down to Only 9 members and the shop also relies on outside volunteers to assist in running it.** 

**Due to our declining membership, the club is sadly closing down in July 2025** 

**and it is hoped that another Charitable Organization can take over for the benefit of the residents of the local Community.**
