I have examined the attached charity accounts for the club year ending 30[th] June 2023
The accounts agree with bank statement and vouchers presented to me.
I have not come across any matters which need to be raised either in relation to the accounting records kept or to the content of the accounts.

Vice President’s Report Wallasey Lions Club
I was Vice President and a Trustee of Wallasey Lions Club from 1[st] July 2022 to 30[th] June 2023 I have perused the Annual Accounts for the Year ending 30[th] June 2023 and make the following observations.
Our two main sources of charitable income derive from a Secondhand Book Shop and a Christmas Fundraising Event every year in December. As can be seen from the charitable account these two fundraisers have created a very substantial income.
The secondhand bookshop goes from strength to strength due to moving to premises in a local Shopping Precinct which has a far greater footfall, and a regular clientele has developed.
Our Christmas Fundraising event comprises of “Santa on his sleigh” going around the local streets and the public donating money and static events with Santa at local supermarkets. This has become such a tradition that the local community expect to see us every year.
As can be seen by our list of Donations from 1[st] July 2022 to 30[th] June 2023 this has culminated into some sizable donations going to both local and international organizations.
