The HQ based team of volunteers are responslble for pmcesslnE the donations of clothe4 sorting and
packing for storage those clothes suitsble for distribution on the street. Those that are not suitable
are sold through vaflous platft>rms to raise funds lor the charity. The van is then kept stocked with
clothlng sorted into crate5 for each item.
The Kitchen Team are responsible for recelvin8, Sortlng and storln8 food dOna￿n$. They cook and
prepare a hot meal Imaln and puddln81 and a food parc*l 4 tlmes PÈT week.
The van Is loaded and taken to the street meetlng polnt by the volunteer driver who meets the Street
Team who d15tr1bute the food, clothln8 and other essentlals.
Achlevements and P•rformJnce
Throughout thls perlod the Charlty has consolldated Its actlvities and concentrated on reflnlng its
processes. For the durntlon of the perlod the Charity contlnued to provlde It5 5eNlces In Brlstol, 8ath,
Yeovll and Taunton.
Help for Homeless are pro¥ldln8 clothln& beddln& hot meals and food parcels In; Brlstol monthly and
Bath, Yeovll andTaunton weekly. In each locatlon we wlll be rnet byvaryln8 number of people ran8ln8
from 25- 50 people. The van wlll be loaded wllh 48 hot meals and any surplus wlll be dellvered to the
homele￿ shelter before the truck returns.
By September 2024 the ¢harlty had a volunteer base of clrca 70, helplnB wlth clothes and food
donatbns, cooklng and preparfng food, drivSn8 and dlstrlbutln8 on the street. Regular donatlons of
food and clothlng have become the norm from a number of local indfvlduals and businesses includlng
farm shops, bakers, and wholesale food outlets Includln& Hunts Foods, Lelvlto Bakery, MrOr8anlc and
The Country Food Trust.
Durln8 the perlod our volunteers attended posl Festfval clearfng and scavenglng at Glastonbury,
Wlldemess and 8oardmarters Festlvals. These have become very valuable sources for collectl
tenls, beddln& clothlng, shoes and other Item5 whkh we are •ble to recycle. Not only are we helplng
to restock the charlty but we are help to recycle Items whlch would otherwlse end up Inlandfill.
Durfng the perlod the charlty ralsed the fvnds frorn a number of fund ralsln8 Intthtlves Includlng,. a
Garden Open event at Bush Fami for local Garden aubs, Downslde School '51eep ouv, 'November
Nlghtg dlnner partles and a Boxln8 Day Meetln8 ¢•terfnB event.
In May 2024 the charlty held a Volunteer5 BBQ as a 'thank you, to our valued volunteers for thelr
contlnued help In supportlng the charlty. Th15 W#5 attended by over 100 volunteers and thelr
portnerslfamllles.
The CharltV5 own commerclal kltchen, leased for Its purposes, contlnues to be an invaluable resource.
The Charity use5 the kitchen for its own needs for 3.5 days of the week and continues to sublet the
remaining 3,5 day5 of the week to Teals for use as a production kltchen and, In so doln& shares the
costs of rent and electrlclty.

The charity continues to offer tI￿Se who have managed to secure accommodation, help with
furnishing and providin8 a 'Start up. kit of essentials. Attommodation wlll usually be entlre
unfLJrni5hed. Through donatlons of fumiture. electrical itemsand kitchen es5entiols help for Homele$5
can usually fully furnish a flat with what's needed to get people started. Through its local network of
Social Workers help for Homeless furnished 10 ftats or other accommodation durin8 this period.
Fln4n(ial Revlew
The flnancial position of the Charity for the period 15 shown Sn the financial rtatements.
During the period the Charity received unrestricted income through donations, fund raising activities
and rental income of £67,759 up from £51.433 in the previous year.
Expendlture for the period was £41,875, up from £25.645 lasi year. of whlch £8,960 was spent on
food and £1,826 on dothlng and tents. After other costs there was a surplus for the perlod of
£24,563.
StNcture• governance and m•na8emert
The charity was established in May 2020 with rÈ8lstratlon wlth the Chartties Commisslon. It Is
constltuted as a Charitable Incorporated Or8anisation and Is governed by the trustees under the
term5 of its Constitution of a CIO last amen(ied on 25, September 2019.
The charity had 4 trustees at the end of the period. Since then, Alisdair Harris has reslgned and the
remalnin8 trustees are in the pwoce55 of recruitln8 UP to two more trustees.

The Charity's accounts, which are maintained by Frome Accountancy Bu￿au, are subject to
Independent Scrutiny by Charlton 8aker Ltd of Trowbrid8e.
