Achievements and Performance
SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Given the continued impact on resources
of being a volunteer run charity and the
residue of potential corporate donors
recovering from the COVID19 pandemic,
the charity continued through 2022
operating on limited resources. In 2022 we
focused on building the donor and
beneficiary project outreach to ensure long
term success in delivering the public
benefit.
Despite these challenges we supported
two one in the Ukraine and one in Sri
Lanka granting money to local NGOs.
In the Ukraine we worked with a non-profit
association, The National Tourism
Organization of Ukraine to create an event
that opened arts venues in Odessa, post-
Russia invasion, that enabled income for
the venues, team members and much
needed morale boosting activity to people
displaced to Odessa by the invasion. The
societal impact was further created by
spreading knowledge of the tourism
attractions of Odessa to assist rapid post-
invasion recovery of the tourism industry.
This action stopped due to the
assessment of risk to people from
intensified Russian attacks on the city.
In Sri Lanka we worked with a local
commercial partner who volunteered
unpaid support to create a framework for

hardship payments to self-employed jeep drivers in the Sri Lanka national parks whose income had disappeared due to the political unrest in Sri Lanka and the long term slow recovery of tourism postpandemic. This work continued until tourism sufficiently recovered to not be sufficiently impactful and the need for our support was deemed by the local partner to not be further needed.
