BAG OF COCAINE WASHES UP ATTOTLAND EXCLUSIVE tIZ4￿￿￿￿E The day I found £200,000 of cocaine on an Isle of Wight beach: Dog-walker reveals his shock as he watched scores of drug-filled bundles washed up on the South Coast Nestling beneath sandstone cliffs dating back 200 million years, the beaches along the Isle of Wight's rugged Jurassic Coast are a magnet for fossil hunters. The lucky ones even find the occasional dinosaur bone. Lasl Saturday morning, however, while walking her dog along the shore and picking up bits of litter, as is her habit. Kayt Wolfe stumbled across something of considerably more value- in monetary terms. at least. An oblong, black canvas, zip-up bag measuring about 4ft by 3ft, that she first assumed was a cushion. thrown or blown off a passing boat.

BSP COMMENTS ON THE SEAWALL PUBLIC CONSULTATION LAUNCH

“A rather timely launch of the public consultation on the Yaverland and Shanklin Coastal Defence scheme was cancelled at Sandown zoo yesterday due to flooding. There is another public exhibition at the zoo today and tomorrow at the Broadway Centre but basically once you read through the whole thing (goodness knows how much that consultation cost to put together) the basic options we the public have from 1-5 are: to do nothing or to repair the existing wall and raise the height of it. No indication is given of cost or who is to pay for the work but as the finishing date is 2028 I assume it will be high”
