25/5/21 Our trustees gathered today for a marketing & social media training session with Kai from Lentil Marketing who has kindly donated his time to help grow our charity, Blue Seas Protection.
We would also like to thank the team at Top Mops Limited in Sandown (Isle of Wight) for allowing us to use their conference room today.
Big things are planned - Blue Seas Protection is here & we mean business!
Also attended a Zoom meeting with Seaspiracy and Sylvia Earle
22/5/21 Whale washed up in West Wight
18/5/21 Visited Westridge Skip Hire to see their recycling facilities and learn about aggregate recycling for the building industry
Then went to work on the boat
14/05/21 Yay! Britain's Best Beach gets Blue Flag again!
07/05/21 Went to Weymouth to pick up the new workboat

NB:
Blue Seas Protection became a Registered Charity no 1189529 on 18 May 2020, formed a Community Interest Company 12079360 also in May 2020, then applied to CAFBank for accounts for the 2 separate legal entities which did not transpire until June 2020. In the meantime we kept operating on the old Natwest account and when the new accounts were opened, transferred funds across, changed the old account to “Petty Cash”, hence:
