for the perlod ended 31 March 2024which comprise the Slatement ot Financlal
Activities, Balance Sheet and the related notes sel out on pages 7t0 9. These
financial statements have been prepared under Ihe historic cost convention and the
accounting policie5 set out on page 7.

We report tothe trustees our opinion whether the financial statements give a true and
falrvlew and are prepared in accoTdance wth the Charities Aci 1993. We also report
to you it, in our opinion, the Trustees, Annual Report is not consistentwith the financial
staiemenls, If the charity has not kept proper accounting recor¢Ys. or if we have not
received alllhe inform£lion and explarbationswe require forlhe preparation ol the
financial statements.
We read the information contained in theTrustees' Annual Report and considerwhether

laid down In ihe Siaiemeni of Recommended Praciice'Accouniing and Repo
rting by Charities" ISORP 20001 issued in October 2000.
To comply lully with The Statement ol Recommende¢J Piactice. would require
investments to be accounte¢J lor at valuation. The trustees are ol the
opinion that since the investments are held lor the long term. itwould be
Inapproprbate io account for unrealbsed galns and losses lor the perlod.
Therefore inveslmenls have been accounted for at hislorical cost. This is the
only exception to compllance with The Siarement ol Recommended Pracllce.
The market value of the investment5 is disclosed.
b. Income Irom members is credited lo the income in Ihe year in which it is
receivable by the Association. All other Sncome Is crediied to Income in the
year in which it is received on a cash basis.

conveyed to the recipients except in those cases where the offer is conditi

The tangible assets ale stBted at cost less depreciation. The general policy
is to provide depreciation on tixed assets on a reducing balance method over
their estimated useful lives. No depreciation is charged in the year in which
the assets are sold or scrapped.
