registered with the Charitses ComMiss￿n ￿ 14Jt May 2020
Trustees
The Trustees in office during the financial year ar¥J at the date of the repjrt are recorded on page 2.
Objectives and Activities
The Trust was founded to make charitabk donations for the public benefit that are exclusively
charitable according to the laws of England aThJ Wales as the charty trUSt￿S may from time to time
detemiine.
Publlc Beneflt
The Trustees confirm that they have complied with the duty in sertion 17(5) of the 2011 Chanties
Act to have due regard to guidan￿ issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit wh8n
deciding on the Gharty's activities.
Fundraising Activities
The trust does not engage in any fijndraising activities (as defir￿d by section 162A of Charities Ad
2011).
Achievemen¢ Perforniance & Financial Review
The trustees have made a number of charltable donations to projects that meet wth our obJ"ectives.
These are principally to improve people's lives through projects in education, healthcare and the
comrnunrty.
The first two projects. an educational one wtlh The Chalk Music FestNal and an educational and
communty project with The London Music Fund had started during the year to 31st March 2025.
For the year to 31si March 2026 the trustees are looking at two other projects. These are the eyesight
healthcare project with Orbis and the tratheostomy healthcare project wtth Professor G Sandhu of
The London Clini
Reserves Policy
It is the intention of the trustees to establish surtabie projects to support wtth grants on a regular
basis and it is therefore Considered imp)rtant to retain a reasonable level of reserves. On
establishing a proje¢t surtable for supporL where this may extend over several year5, a reserve
requirement wll ￿ estsblthd on a projed-by-project basis.

Investment Policy
The KM Foundation has no restricted funds, and a total retum approath is used for the managemenl
of the investment portfolio.
Barclays Wealth Management have been appointed as investment managers during the financial
year and they provide quarterly updates and an annual rekxjrt for the trustees to review at the annual

trustee meèting. The appointment as investment managers will be revieNved annually at the trustee
meeting.
All income is generated from assets which are unrestricled.
Grant Making Policy
The trustees will meet twice a year to review the financial Ferfomiance of the trust and consider
requests for grants.
Statement of Trustees, Responsibilities
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees. Annual Report and the accounts in
accordance with applicable law and Unrted Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom
Generally Accepted Accountsng Practi￿}.
The law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the Trustees to prepare accounts for
each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the Charity and of the
incoming reSoUr￿S and application of resources of the Charity for that period.
In preparing these xcounts. the Trustees are required to:
select suitable accounttng policies and then appty them consistently;
ObSe￿e the methods and principles in the Charities SORP"
make judgements arKI estimates that are reasonable and [￿dent,.
state whether applicable accounling standards have been followed, subj'ect to any
material departures disdosed and explained in the financial statements..
prepare the accourrts on the going con￿rn basis unless it is inappropriate to presume
that the Charity will continue in 0￿ration.
The Trustees are responsib￿ for keeping proFEr accounting records that disclose wrf(h reasonable
a￿uracY at any time the firtancial position of the Charity and enable them to ensure that the financial
statements comply with the Charities Act 2011 and the Charity (Accounts and Reports) Regulations
2008. The Trustees are also respons1t￿e for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence for
taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

Governance of the Charity
The Twst holds a General Meeting on an annual basts, at which the Trustees are elected. In
addrtion. the meeting considers the accounts for the pre￿dIng year and considers the Trustees,
Report on the activrties during the year. The Trustees also meet during the year to consider and
authorise operational and strategic maiter5.

Basls of Preparation
The KM Foundation meets Ihe definibon of a public benefft entity under FRS 102.
These accounts have been prepared in accordan￿ with Accounting and Reporting by Charities"
Statement of Recommended Practi￿. applicable to charities preparing their accounts in
accordance with the Financial Reportirrfj StarKlard applicable in the UK and Republic of I￿land
(FRS 102), and the Charities Act 2011.
The finanoal statements are prepared on a going concem basis under the historical cost
convention, unless otherwise slated in the relevant accounting policy note. The financial
statements are kY8sented in sterfing, which is the fijnctional Cu￿encY of Charity.
2. Accounting Policies
All income is credited to furKls of the Trust in the year in which it is r*1vab￿.
All expenditure 15 re￿gnised as soon as there is a legal or constructtve obligation committiro
the charity to pay out resources and are direcuy altributed to one of the funrtional categories of
reSoUr￿S expended.
The Trust is not registered for value added tax, and so all such tax paid is charged to the
statement of financial activtties. as part of the expenditure to which it relates.
Unrestricted funds comprise accumulated surpluses on the general funds and are available to
use at the disGretion of the Trustees in furtherance of the general charitable obJ"ectives.
Listed investments are stated at market value. increasel(decrease) on revaluations are
transferred tol(from) the Statement of Financial ActivitÈs.

I report on the accourrts of the Chanty for the year ended 31 March 2025. which are set oui on pages
2to9.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the oharity trustees you are reSponsi￿e for the preparation of the accounts in accordan￿ with
the requirements of Charitses Act 2011 {Ihe Acl.).
I report in re$￿ct of my examination of the charity accounts Garried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examinatK)n I have followed all the applicable Directions given by
the Chaiity Commission under section 145(5){b) of the Act.
Independent examinerfs statement
I have completed my examinab'on. I confimi that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect
1. accounting records were not kept in resFeCt of the Trust a5 required by section 130 of the Act., or
2. the acGounts do not accord with those records.. or
3. the accounts do not comply wth the applicable requirements Con￿mIng the fonn and content of
accounts set out in the Chanties (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2LK)8 other than any
requirement that the accounts gNe a true and fair vTrew which is not a matter considere(l as part of
an independent examination.
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in thi5 report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
