Our Admiral Nurse is based al Honilon Community Hospital along with the Older Adults Dementia

Honiton will contribute one third ol the overall costs with DUK and the NHS taking their equal
share. This secures the post for a further 2 years and will be ol enormous help for our fundraising
efforts which continue to be challenging with many local worthy charities all looking lor financial
support from our community. Our chairman has regular update meetings with the local NHS
matron and the regional Dementia UK representative to foster clear communication across the
disciplines about this post.
Honlton Memory Café continues to support about 50 people including those with dementia and
their families. The group is run and managed by volunteers so all funds raised go directly lo
benefit those who attend Ihe café.
We value all our volunteers who give so kindly of their lime and skills and without whom the charity
could not function.
We have an annual Volunteers Away Day to reflect on our practice, update on training and spend
time together away from the melee ol the calé.
