done on a voluntary basis. Frequent
discussions are held between the charity’s
chair and other officers of the charity to help
organise meetings, organise and consider
fund raising opportunities, and the
development and growth of the charity. All
trustees give their time for trustee duties on
avoluntary basis.|

opportunities has been an essential focus of
the charity during this period. This
culminated in a successful application to the
National Lottery enabling future projects to
be planned and executed throughout 2022.|

The charity began this period with a limited
programme of art workshops to be delivered
to recipients in the groups identified in our
purposes. Much concentration and effort
was put into fundraising and this period saw
a successful application by the charity to the
National Lottery. A full plan of art workshops
and associated administration was put to the
National lottery. Following the award,
beneficiaries for the workshops will be
identified and workshops allocated and
booked in.
Written and verbal feedback from the
charity’s workshops so far indicate that the
workshops:
1. provide an opportunity for people that is
otherwise lacking in their lives
2. are extremely enjoyable and have a
positive effect on the mental health of
recipients.
3. Have proved to be a chance for
marginalised and people in difficult
circumstances to come together and spend
time engaging in creative activity.
4. bring improvements in the mental well
being of such people and these will also
have a knock on effect in their everyday lives
and those that they associate with, thereby
benefiting society as a whole.|
