SRI LANKA LEUKAUMIA FOUNDATION IJKO TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR YEAR ENDING 31 DECEMBER 2025 Sri Lanka Leukaemia Foundation {UK) which was established in 2008 is a Charity committed to supportingApeksha Hospital in Maharagama Sri Lanka which is the main National Cancer Hospital. The Hospital alleviates the distress of children and adults suffering from Leukaemia and Cancer. Over the past 17 years Sri Lanka Leukaemia Foundation IUKI has significantly supported the Hospital through various fundraising projects. The donations amounting to approximately £200,000 have provided projects identified by the Hospital which include medical equipment and other essential requirements torthe benefit of the patients. These contributions h8ve played a crucial role in enhancing the quality of cancer treatment and patient care at Apek5ha hospital. The main sources of income received during the year ending 31 December 2025 was from General Don8tions and net proceeds from a fund-raisin8 Dinner Dance. During the year 2025 the Sri Lank8 Leukaemia Foundation IUKI has been discussing with Apeksha Hospit81 to provide an Ultrasound Scanner as requested by the Ho>pital. This will be an advanced and sophisticatea machine costingapproximately £50.000 and will help di88nosis accurately and efficiently. The Foundation is hoping to provide this machine mid-2026.
