The main objectives ol the Sri Lank8 Leukaemia Foundation IUKI are to relieve sickness and to
preserve and protect good health tor the public benefrt by providing fin8ncial aid for medical
nd other Equipment to tacilitate treatment of patients with cancer at Apeksha National Canc8T
Hospital in Sri Lpnka.
From the inception of the Charity. the Found8tion hes provided the Hospital with Equipment
and aided urgent requifemenis low the benélit of Cancer patients.
The main sourcas of Income received duringthe yèar 2024was Irom General 0on8tions and net
proceedsfrom e Fund-raising Dinner Danc8
During the year ending 31 December 2024, the Sri Lanka Leukaemia Foundation equipped e
new P8edi8tric ward with 35 beds and interior curtains etc. This h8lp8d the chilorgn with cancer
tremendously during iheir process of recovery.
Also, during ihe year, the Foundation supplied IT Equipment including desktop computers,
barcode re8ders. printers and network devices to enhance the patient record system. This
contributed significantly to enh8n¢e the Apeksha National Cancer Hospital to maintaln a
comprehensive 8nd efficient patient ￿Cord system.
The above ald comprised the beneficiary payments reflecteo in the Accounts.
