project was supported by a £10,000 grant from the Rural England
Prosperity Fund. In addition, a further £7.710 was received by
way of grant from the Football Foundation to install safety I
boundary fencing at a cost of £10,280 to separate pitches from

Financial Review
Review of the Charity s
financial position at the end
of the period
It should be noted that the period in question is a 14 month period
following a change of year end from 3151 May to 31. July primarily
so thal toumament income and expenses can both be recognised
dunng the same accounting period. The charity finished the year
in a strong financial position with cash at bank I cash of £19.005
despite continuing to invest in pitch maintenance and facilities as
described above. There were no si
nificant liabilities at
ear end.
We consider that cash reserves should be maintained at a
minimum of £4k of unrestricted cash all times. This is considered
a prudenl level to cover day to day expenses for several months.
All meaningful projects are planned in advance and not
undertaken until committed fundin
is in
