The club is run by ten trustee’s, chairman, treasurer, secretary, safety officer and six others. All involved in the assisting of planning and execution of the day to day running of the club.
We have a membership of approximately sixty members, ladies and gentlemen some who are playing members and some are social members. We support six leagues of competitive bowls as well as providing a friendly environment for social interaction, which is invaluable for lots of members.
Our competitive games run for six months of the year and during this time we are responsible for the upkeep of the green, surrounding areas and clubhouse.
We actively seek out funding and sponsorship and small local grants to subsidise our annual membership fees to ensure joining fees are set at a reasonable level.
We are hoping to attract as many new member’s to continue to provide sport and social activities to the local community.
