**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES WHICH ADVANCE THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CONGREGATION AS THE TRUSTEES WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE CONGREGATIONAL LEADER SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT AND IF AT ANY TIME THE CONGREGATION SHALL CEASE TO EXIST OR SHALL CEASE TO CARRY ON OR DIRECT ANY CHARITABLE WORK THEN FOR SUCH LAWFUL CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DECIDE.

**Activities:** The Congregation has been active in the area of education and spiritual accompaniment in England for over 100 years. Due to the increasing age of members the charity supports a large number of sisters in their latter years in nursing and care homes. The charity runs Emmaus House (Whitchurch Bristol) a retreat and conference centre offering a variety of workshops retreats and professional training.
