On 1st October, 2020 a resolutlon was agreed and passed by the boord ot trustees to change the name to Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Service (South Bucklnghamshlre) (RSASS). The CIO is the Charlty Commlsslon's Assoclatlon modal where there are votlng members other than Its trustees os stoted Ir) the Constltutlon. The constltutlon 15 currently wlth the Charltles Commlsslon to ba omend8d to a CIO wlth no votlng membership other than Trustees, a process whlch will be completed during 2024. At thè annual gèn8ral m88tlng otthè cio (13th Dac8mb•r 2023) stacay Carmichael and Amy Moore retired from office as required in clause13.1 of the constitution and were both reappointed. The trustees consistently monitor the charlty'5 objectives and activlties throughout the year, conductlng raviews durlng board meetings held at least every three months. These meatlngs are supported by three subgroups focuslng on flnance, governance, and development. In 2023-2024, RSASS experlenced slgnlflcant dev8lopm8nt ond change. The leadershlp team, staff, and volL¢nteers have bullt a comprehenslve support servl¢e from our off Ice In Hlgh Wycombe. Our team, managed by th8 Executlve Dlrector and Operatlonal Dlrector, Includes Cllnlcal ond Volunteerlng leads, a Communlcatlons Manoger, Wellbelng Coordlnator, and ISVA. Togeth8r, they ensur8 our servlc8s are hlghly accesslble and quallty monltored. Our offlca, equlppgd wlth counselllng, megtlng, tralnlng, and admlnlstratlon rooms, Is regularly used not only by RSASS but also by partners, includlng the polic8, who provlde compl8mentary support to our servlce us8rs. Over 40 volunteers contrlbute to varlous roles, such as webslte ¢reatlon, soclal medlo management, bid wrltlng, HR functlons, training, and marketing. All stall and volunteers receive accredited essential and specialised training, including that provided by The Survlvors Trust The RSASS model of support Is underplnned by best practlce pollcles ond procedures and Is offered face-to-face, onllne, via texL or telephone. We hove d8veloped outreach options through networklng wlth partners on county borders and In the local area. Includlng Women's Aid, young people's education, and mental hgalth s8rvices. This year, we have also storting working wlth the Hollle Gazzord Trust and Urban. aiming to become partners In delivering RSASS servlces. RSASS ha5 organlsationol msmbershlp of the NCVO and 8ritish A550clation for Coun5elllng and Psychotherapy {8ACP) and adheres to the Ethical Framework for Good Practice In counselllng ond psychotheropy. RSASS members of staff are domestic abuse champions havin9 trained to use DASH and attend the local MARAC. PAGE 07

Drlvlng growth wlll be a key ospect of work as we strlve to reach more Indlvlduals who have experlencad sexual violence. Next year working with the Cranfield Trust we will complete our strategic plan and dovelop a long term flnanclal plan to secure tho roslllenco of tho chorlty. RSASS wlll contlnuo to access diverse funding streams, including working with portners to bid for money and share lolnt rasourcas. Wo plan to extend our membershlp of re¢ognlsed orgonlsotlons wlthln the fleld including with The Survivors TrusL ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE Durlng 2023-2024 RSASS becama mor8 accessible ond grew all of the servlces provlded to people In South Buckinghamshirgwho have experienced sexual violence. RSASS support throughout 2023-24 included a minimum of volunteer and paid counsellors offering counselllng sessions a week. A depreciation charge of £107 has b8en recognlsed. Ther8 was addlOnallY a capltal expense on a carpet for £3,435 whlch has been copltallsed. Flnan¢lal R•*•N•• The Trustees keep a mlnimum of three months gxpenses as reserves but Idoolly alm to accumulate reservas equivalent to at least 6 months exp8ndlture, to provld8 the ablllty to meet unforeseen expenditure and support growing local demand. This is a key focus for future financial periods. Fund balances as at 31 March 2024 were at £90.282 with cash at bank of £75,774 as at 31 March 2024 which satisfies the reserves policy set out below.
