**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY, WHICH ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING:(1) TO RELIEVE, WITHOUT LIMITATION; THE DISTRESS, SUFFERING, POVERTY AND DISADVANTAGE OF WOMEN AND GIRLS, AND THEIR CHILDREN, WHO HAVE OR ARE STILL SUFFERING FROM ALL FORMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE BY PROVIDING: SPECIALIST SUPPORT SERVICES AND ACCESS TO SAFE TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION IN LIVERPOOL AND ELSEWHERE AS APPROPRIATE;(2) TO PROMOTE THE PROVISION OF SERVICES DIRECTED TOWARDS THE PREVENTION OF DOMESTIC ABUSE, AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY AGENCIES IN ALL ASPECTS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE, ITS CAUSES AND PREVENTION;(3) TO SUPPORT ALL PERSONS WHO HAVE SUFFERED, OR ARE IN DANGER OF SUFFERING, DOMESTIC ABUSE FROM PERPETRATORS KNOWN TO THEM.

**Activities:** LDAS provides services to ALL women & girls,16 plus, who have been subjected to domestic violence & abuse.  We support women whether they intend to stay in the relationship, want help to leave or have left and still suffering the effects.  We do this by providing trained specialist DA advocates, one to one support, counselling, group programmes, safety planning, housing, legal and welfare support.
