young children, giving a baiter balanced and more repr8sentatNe age range to the fellowship. C￿erall. Ih8r8 were 7

Chrlslmas gift to our missionaries. as well as 8 subslanfjal donation to Ukraine pastors and churches Ihrough
Action UK. Al the do¥0 of 2022, donal10￿ ceased lo m￿¢￿￿9$ as tw w ￿thdrawn from théir
mi$sion activities. During February and November.'More C￿ ML8slon' activthes look place involving each of the

The regular preg¢hing ministry of the Church conb'nues to be gospekbgsgd. and b)th encour8giThJ and challenglng.
As w811 as our Pastor and Assistant Pastor pYovidiTrJ regular minlsty Sunday momings and evenlngs, we have
wolcomed 8 number of guest speakers from Ictsl FIEC Churc￿ and from fvrther afield. indLtding the Chrlstlan
Instiluts. In ApdS, lust before Easter. we held wr annual Week of Prayer. waying al different times each day for 8
drfferenl Church aciivmy. This ind￿d￿l a Day of Prayer ￿ the TL￿y, %then people sigwl up to pray in 15
minute slots from 7.00 8m lo 7.￿ pm. after which we met togett￿r to sharè #round Ihe Lord's Table. On Easter
Day, we were privTrleged to sts three your¥J PeOFAp pass through the waters of baptism and wtness to theii faith in
Jesus Christ. It was the first OPF%xlunty we had to up and use our new baptisty.
We also supported and parb¢ipaled in the annual 8￿mem￿lh BiUe Week In July. ￿JoYing fellowship with
ndghbouring FIEC churthes. We were plea3e(I to conlinue tyjr partrwship Gra¢x Church. who m881 ar*J
wltness locally on the W81èrloo Eslote in Pode. w¢th we mel fory)int F¥ayer meetings.

suitable time. In Novwnber, we organis￿￿ an evangelisbc (Artrga(* event when the O&lments Theatre Company
perfom)ed"Amaing Gtace", the Irue story of slave trader John Nev4ton ￿ was mir8culously converted In
violent slomi al sea and L￿e a famous hyThn wriler and an￿".￿aVe a￿￿"Onl$l. Fellowship events were plann
at regular Intervds throughout the year, and IndUd￿ pl￿1(￿. wdks. a barbe￿e. games, quiz nwJhL Men's and
Ladies. breakfasls and a Bring and Sh8rg lunch.
Our Christmas athwtsgs sought to reath oui into Community. and induded Carol Singing on the Bro8(￿aY and
in Costs Coffaè. followed by soup and rolls in thè CMJrch' an all-aga Chrislmas Celebration., Carols by Candleluht,.
and Carols in the Car Park for our chLFrch noighLKJurs a5 wdl as cyjr short Chrislmas Day cElebrab"on sorvice.
Invitation cards were print8d and distn"l)uted ILKally and to friends, containing details of the events a gospgl
message of hop8 on the back. We also Celebraiicn fellowship meal al a local hotel, which has
already been t￿ked for next year.

invited lo take an Assgmbly at Br08dstone Mkldle Schos beffxe Chri$trna$. and il is antiupatsd that Ihis will
¢onts'nue in 2023, as well as taking Assam￿1$$ al Broadstcm First Sctrtsj. He 8180 h8lped to le&1 a ehildren'8
camp in Somersgt ￿th a small team from the Chu￿h.
A larg9 number of parb'upants tix)k part in training courses- ￿ frA Fire Safety and Emer9oncy Evacuatson
Training, and the other for Saf8guardirwJ ol CI￿ldren and Vulner&le Adults. were extremely worthythile and
very well received by those Attending. "Churchsuite" sothvare was introduced to a5SiSt administration 8nd improvg
communIc￿on9 to members, thos rt88 been very effective.
In summary. 2022 was a year of 8th￿r￿J to bring thg foNMhip bar* 8fter the years of dlsruplion 8nd to
reconnect and get to kTr)w each other again. It was in many ways a challenglng yèar for Broadslon8 Baptist
Church, bul th8 above report Shov￿ that by Goj's grace wg have ath"ev•J muth. We rgmain extremely grateful lo
God for His provisKJn to us in so many way& partKuLqrty finanually. we Ic#)k to HIM as we continuo to slep out

Church's bankers and Chufch o)ngrwJ8tion will ensure that the Churth has ad8qual& reswrce to omtinue in

Any Church member may suggest to the Elders the name of a member for elect￿ by the Church as a Daacon.

¢8ndrdales for their namgs to be put fOr￿rd. The Elders wll then fornially propose the ¢aThJidates to the Church
