Fete Day June 2024. Trustees agreed to hold Annual Lions Club Fathers Fete Day. Proposed by Lion Geoff and Seconded by Lion Ann.
Sponsorship.
Lion David made some headway approaching companies for sponsorship, good news. Particular Company willing to Sponsor need to give adequate notice. Objective sponsorship Face Painter at future Fete Day.
Was suggested for sponsoring a person having a stall such as the Face Painter they said that would be to small monetary amount it makes more impression something on a larger scale.
Breath Champs Awareness
Asthma Children’s Treasure hunt, all set for the 16[th of] July 2023 for Walton Park Sale. Sugar Free Lollipops given out and free gifts to the Children.
QR Code Raise Additional Monies – Charitable Purposes. Lion Barry investigating.
Financial Support to Trafford Young Carers.
Lion Ann sent an email from Shay the Young Carers Art Pictures Session Young Carers have display of art picture painting by them at John Lewis Community Cafe for two weeks, picture will be taken down this week.

Agreed to have a Comedy for Charity Night Fund Raiser support St Ann’s Hospice. Proposed by Lion Geoff and Seconded by Secretary Lion Ann.
Planned in Photograph to be taken and Presentation of Certificate of Appreciation to Jeremy helper at the Father’s Day Fete in June 2023.
This was to thank Jeremy his support for the last two years driving the van at the Fete transport lifting heavy equipment from and to the Lions Lock Up Container located at Sale Golf Club.
Environmental.
Lion Chris had previously ordered 1 Set of 7 Children’s Environmental Books called Wild Tribes. Purpose circulate in local Primary School.

I have all the entries received for the District 105CN Covering 84 Clubs in the District. Presentation of Winner, Runner Up, is at the District Convention and will take place in the afternoon of the Business Session on Saturday 16[th] March 2024.
The Categories are as follows:
British Native Wildlife, British Native Wild Birds, British Wildflowers, Farm Animals, Improve the Environment, Landscape, Rivers, Trees, Urban Area, Weather Phenomenon.

Due to the unforeseen circumstances at the time not all Voting Papers were returned to Lion President Simon.

At this point Charity Account in a healthy financial position support the Fete. Fete has 3 Objectives.
First Objective: Service Projects supports Individuals/Family Low income provide a
Fund Day Out no Entrance Charge Individual spend money on Charity Stall/Stalls or Commercial Stall/Stalls their choice.
Second Objective:
Enables Charity Stalls represented on the day their awareness in the community and raise money for themselves.
Receive a small income on the day from Charity.
Third Objective.
Sale & District Lions Club raise money on the day go into the Club Charity Account to be disbursed back into the Community.
