Club had storage for Annual Fete Day Gazebos, Table Chairs, Other Equipment issues at Sale Golf Club where the monthly meetings take place.

This was to do with the Sale Golf Club Committee as through the years the Sale and District Lions Club Fete Day Equipment had been used by them on certain occasions. Club had looked at renting but was not practical due to weekly hire charges. Other alternative was to have a Shipping Container at the Sale Golf Club however this would cost £1,500 well outside Sale and District Lions Club remit of paying out by making personal donations.

Next action was to go to Sale Golf Club and do an itinerary check of all equipment and check condition of existing Gazebos.

Sale and District Lions Club Fund Disbursement Form had been completed by Friends of Worthington Park appealing for a Defibrillator.

Much research had been done reading vandal proof and how to access in an emergency situation

A Club member found all information required in the UK Quarterly Edition of the Lion Magazine. Agreed by Club members to purchase at a Defibrillator cost of £250-00.

The Defibrillator was placed/located next to the Trafford Borough Council Public Toilets in Worthington Park.

HomeStart completed Sale and District Lions Club Community Projects Application Form for assistance.

Charity received approximately income of £300,000 per annum.

The club rejected the application that the amount of monies potentially given by the club would be insignificant and would it benefit the local Community of the Sale area.
