I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 30 April 2024. 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or 

- the accounts do not accord with the accounting records 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

|Summary of the main activities in<br>relation to those purposes for the<br>public benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or services<br>identified in the accounts.|Para 1.17<br>and 1.19|In this fourth year of operation Sibling<br>Support has continued to successfully raise<br>funds and awareness of the charity.<br>In the year leading to 30April 2024 Sibling<br>Support raised funds from Donations<br>(£31,727) and Grants totaling (£21,317).<br>The funds were used to:<br>-<br>Launched our new website filled with<br>more content and stories to support<br>bereaved siblings.<br>-<br>Produced and posted 2,607<br>resources since launch of website,<br>with hundreds posted before that<br>date.<br>-<br>Ensure orders placed are received by<br>bereavement workers and families<br>within 48 working hours.<br>-<br>Launch a mindfulness walk, with<br>around 6,000 participants, to support<br>people with their mental health and<br>grief.<br>-<br>Employ two part time staff members<br>to ensure smooth operation of the<br>charity and help it grow to ensure no<br>bereaved sibling is forgotten.|

Since our website launched<br>we have sent out 2607 resources.<br>Feedback from those we’ve supported can<br>be seen in our 23-24 report.<br>We spoke to over 500 professionals including<br>doctors, bereavement partitioners and<br>teachers to educate, train, and advise their<br>work with bereavement siblings.<br>We appeared on BBC Breakfast to share our<br>experiences of sibling bereavement and<br>championing more work to help young<br>people experiencing grief.|
