charity Sibling Support has continued to grow
in size and recognition within our sector.
We launched our new website in November
2023, a hub of support, guidance and advice
to help young people in the UK cope
following the death of their brother and sister.
We continued to send out free sibling specific
and accessible resources to young people,
their families, and bereavement
professionals. Since our website launched
we have sent out 2607 resources.
Feedback from those we’ve supported can
be seen in our 23-24 report.
We spoke to over 500 professionals including
doctors, bereavement partitioners and
teachers to educate, train, and advise their
work with bereavement siblings.
We appeared on BBC Breakfast to share our
experiences of sibling bereavement and
championing more work to help young
