Para 1.20 The charity has continued
to hold
regular worship services and other
activities, proclaiming
the gospel and
maintaining
a Christian
witness
in West
Ealing generally,
and the Green Man
Estate specifically. This was done
despite the very significant
disruption
of
Covid-19, and while it was at times not
possible to meet in person due to Covid-
restrictions,
the congregation
continued
to support one another through
contact
outside ofthese formal settings.
During the year, the charity converted
from a trust to a CIO, which was
registered
on 29April 2020. On this
date, the charity also received
permission
from the Charity
Commission
to transfer all assets and
activities from the predecessor
charity
to the CIO.
The trustees
have also furthered
discussion
with Ealing Borough Council
and Rydon developers
regarding
the
future ofthe Dean Hall site in light ofthe
ongoing
regeneration
ofthe Green Man
Estate. The parties are exploring
mutually
beneficial solutions
that will
enable the development
consortium
to
achieve their goals for the next phases
ofthe regeneration
project, while
accommodating
Dean Hall suitably,
potentially
elsewhere
on the estate. The
trustees are continuing
to take advice in
this regard, and no firm commitments
have been entered into. As the
development
progresses
with its next
phases, the trustees are hopeful that
meaningful
progress
will be made in the
foreseeable future.
