The CIO was pleased to be able to support the senior leadership team of Summary of the main the church in seeing significant growth during the year, with the following achievements of the charity highlights: during the year

We have seen Sunday attendance at both our Stratford and manor Park site worship services significantly increase numerically. We were thrilled to baptise 12 people this year. We were also encouraged to be able start a Spanish seeking service once a month,

The children’s and youth groups have also been developing numerically. We have been able to start a manned creche on Sunday’s which will be a game changer in encouraging parents with young children to access our worship services.

Our food pantry has continued to provide food and essentials for 80 plus households each week. This is complemented by wrap around services such as support with and for digital inclusion, and advice for those navigating the cost of living challenges.

We have continued to run a Parents support group for those with neurological diverse needs, which is helping a number of families who are under pressure.

Our Grow Baby project is growing in strength and influence. Grow Baby aims to provide new and good quality second hand baby clothes for children aged 0-5 years completely free of charge to anyone who needs it.

Our support for asylum seekers in a local contingency hotel in Stratford has continued. This has included running a community kitchen, a warm haven and English classes. We have also supported those who have been granted refugee status help in finding accommodation.

Over the year we have run two Alpha courses, Al Massira course, a theology and a leadership development course.

Looking towards the future the team have begun formulating a 5 year strategy.
