Tardio distributed story books to children on the streets of Ghana to mark the 2025 World Book Day. To raise awareness on the importance of breakfast, Tardio carried out a one day breakfast club in Community primary school, Ehi Road, Oyigbo, Rivers State, Nigeria. Tardio also initiated Book club in Amawom community school, Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria and donated books for the book club. Tardio hopes to organise a fundraising in the UK to help repair their leaking roof in order to protect the children from harsh weather and to also protect their books in their library which is almost in ruin due to rain (2024 report). – this fundraising is yet to happen. But the Trustee Chairperson, as always, repaired the roof from her purse. |

Para 1.20 | Tardio carried out various outreach programmes to the following public primary schools in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria: Tardio continues to distribute story books in Nigeria and has now started in Ghana by the new Volunteer. Tardio is also giving back to school materials to children (bag, pen and exercises books). This is a great relief for parents who are unable to afford school materials. And there has been a recorded improvement in the number of kids who attend the community school’s book club and there is an increase in their enthusiasm. Activities can be found on TARDIO’s website and Facebook Social media platform. |
