**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND HARDSHIP AMONG HOMELESS AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN OR NEAR NEWBURY, WEST BERKSHIRE AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE STATED OBJECTS THE CIO MAY:(A) ASSIST THE HOMELESS AND VULNERABLE IN THE NEWBURY AREA BY PROVIDING A DROP-IN CENTRE, OPEN A NUMBER OF TIMES EACH WEEK AS MAY BE AGREED FROM TIME TO TIME;(B) SERVE MEALS, WHETHER AT THE DROP-IN CENTRE OR ELSEWHERE;(C) DISTRIBUTE DONATED OR PURCHASED FOOD AT THE DROP-IN CENTRE OR ELSEWHERE;(D) DISTRIBUTE DONATED OR PURCHASED TOILETRIES, CLOTHING AND BEDDING AND SUCH OTHER ITEMS AS MAY BE APPROPRIATE FROM TIME TO TIME;(E) GUIDE HOMELESS AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE TO OTHER AGENCIES OR CHARITIES THAT MAY BE ABLE TO OFFER OTHER FORMS OF ASSISTANCE WHEN REQUIRED; AND(F) TO PROVIDE OR FACILITATE SUCH OTHER FORMS OF ASSISTANCE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.

**Activities:** We are a drop in centre serving food to the homeless and vulnerable in the Newbury area. The preparation and serving of meals is our main function but we also provide groceries, tins, toiletries, clothes and bedding to  those in need.  It is also a place where people can socialise.  We work with other organisations and agencies who can offer help and signpost those in need to the relevant groups.
