THE EVERGREEN FOUNDATION is a charity which is an incorporated association regulated by constitution. The charities registered number is 1189232.

Organisational structure

The charity trustees are responsible for general control and management of the charity. The trustees meet anually to discuss the operations of the charity.

THE EVERGREEN FOUNDATION trustees are initially selected by the trust and are reviewed in the AGM for any changes. THE EVERGREEN FOUNDATION is constituted as a Trust and is a non-profitable

Charity Aims

The prevention or relief of poverty anywhere in the world by providing: grants, items and services to individuls in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

To relieve poverty among refugees, asylum seekers, migrant workers and their dependants living anywhere in the world by providing advice and education.

The prevention or relief of poverty anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.

Main activities/ achievements

The Evergreen Foundation have actively begun searching and visiting suitable locations in trying to secure appropriate premises to initiate and facilitate the poverty relief work in Pakistan. The project is expected to gain further momentum and traction during the next financial year.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILITIES

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Report of the Trustees and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards ( United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice ) .

The trustees are responsible to ensure a true and fair view is given of the income and expenditure for the given period of time in which the financial statements are related to.

In preparing these financial statements , the trustees are required to :

● state whether applicable United Kingdom Accounting Standards have been followed , subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements ; and

● prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in providing services.

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the Financial Statements comply with the Companies Act 2006 or Charities SORP . They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities .

Accountants' report on the unaudited financial statements to the trustees of The Evergreen Foundation

We have complied the charity financial statements of THE EVERGREEN FOUNDATION for the year ended 05 April 2025. The financial reporting framework that has been applied in their preperation is applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).

This report is made solely to the charity's trustees, as a body, in accordance with Chapter 3 of Part 16 of the Companies Act 2006. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the charity trustees, for our accounts work, for this report, or for the opinions we have formed.

Respective responsibilities of trustees and accountants

As explained more fully in the Statement of Trustees' Responsibilities set out on page 3, the trustees are responsible for the preperation of the financial statements and for being satisfied that they give a true and fair view.

Our responsibility is to compile the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and frm the books of accounts, information and explanations provided to us by you (The Evergreen Foundation) in order to fulfil your statutory obligations.
