Summary of the charity’s main activities: 

Weekly rehearsals for its members, preparing music for performances. 

- The group is open to musicians of any standard. 

- Rehearsals are held in an accessible building. 

- Through rehearsals, members are encouraged and enabled to develop their skills and enjoyment of ensemble music-making. 

- Regular donations are made by members to fund the activities of the charity.

Presenting musical performances for the enjoyment and education of the public. 

- Performances are free to attend, making them accessible to all.

- Website and social media pages are maintained, to inform the public of our activities and events. 

- Members are encouraged to publicise concerts. 

Inviting donations towards a specified charity. 

- Audience members are given the opportunity to donate to our chosen ‘charity of the year’, in order to benefit the work of that charity. 

- The ‘charity of the year’ is nominated and voted upon by members. 

The trustees have all read the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit, and take it into consideration when planning activities. Regular trustees’ meetings are held to review the activities and ensure that the charity meets its aims and objectives.

Section D                      Achievements and performance 

One concert was given in March 2020 (before the organisation was **Summary of the main** registered as a charity), during which donations were collected for the **achievements of the charity** City of Coventry Corps of Drums. **during the year** Following this concert, the national lockdown was announced, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, no more rehearsals or performances were carried out for the remainder of the year.
