## Annual Report 2023 

2023 was a very quiet year for the charity in terms of fundraising, as I was settling into a new work role and was unable to commit significant time to fundraising. 

From an operations point of view we had an exciting year, with the highlight of conducting what ought to be the first of many cleft lip surgical missions to Sri Lanka, with a team of very well qualified nurses. 

We have also put plans in place for next year to fund an Ambulance for the 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation, whose work we have been very impressed with. 

As interest rates rise, we also see the need to put in place a much better treasury management system, and it’s my hope that we can do this for next year.
