Our charitable purposes are to present
concerts, lectures, workshops and stage
performances to educate and inform the
general public about the origin and
development of the work of John Weaver,
birth of ballet and music of the early 18th
century.
Throughout this year we have taken the
commission's public benefit guidance into
account when making all decisions relevant
to our procedures and actions.

Evelyn Nallen has now become an accredited
Arts Society lecturer. In this role she is in a
strong position to further the public
awareness of John Weaver, the baroque
music of his time and its influence on
subsequent centuries, and on the recorder as
an instrument that as a key part of any
baroque orchestra of Weaver's Day -
together with the journey of the recorder
since Weaver's time to the present day.
