Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the maln achievements of the charlty during the year The Weaver Ensemble gave a performance on the exact 350th anniversary of Weaver's birth at the John Weaver Festival held in Shrewsbury in July 2023. The following morning. we held a workshop for the general public called Movement with Meaning, based on the writings of John Weaver. This was followed by a wreath-laying ceremony commemorating John Weaver in Old St Chad's Churchyard attended by the High Sheriff of Shropshire. Evelyn Nallen gave lectures, illustrated by videos from the Weaver Ensemble performances, on John Weaver and the beginnings of ballet, at Clare Hall College, Cambridge, and in Melbourne, Australia.
