We actively encourage and work with members of our community (i.e. refugees, asylum seekers or migrants) with a view of developing their capacity, skills and confidence in their own abilities as we provide them with appropriate responsibilities within our group to develop their transferable skills. All of which is aimed at reducing social isolation, loneliness and a feeling of disconnection from the world around them by enabling them to feel a part of the community around them. Our activities and services provide accessible and affordable opportunities enabling our beneficiaries to exercise choice, access support that enables them to participate more fully in society and works to increase participants sense of self belief in their own abilities, working towards a more self-reliant and resilient community that has the tools they need to help themselves.
