• Completing work with interns from Keele

limited funds raised so far. Multiple
applications for funding grants have been

The efforts of the trustees and the (unpaid)
Executive Officer plus the new volunteer,
Duncan Williamson have identified a need for a
more structured campaigning strategy.
Planning for this has commenced.
The interns funded and provided by Keele and
Birmingham universities completed their small
but valuable tasks, marking a start for future
projects.
A single donation of £300 from the charitable
fund of Frazer-Nash Consultancy is the first
significant donation to be received by the
Charity: all other donations being provided by
individuals (for instance through Easy
Fundraising).|

## **Structure, Governance and Management:**
The charity is constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and the governing document of the charity is its Constitution of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
The only voting members of the charity are its charity trustees.
The charity must have at least three charity trustees. Ifthe number falls below this minimum, the remaining trustees may act only to call a meeting of the charity trustees, or appoint a new charity trustee. The maximum number of charity trustees is twelve.
Apart from the first charity trustees, every trustee must be appointed for a term of three years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees.
In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the charity trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO.

## **Objectives and activities**
The objectives of the charity are:
1) To promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use and protection of natural resources including fauna, flora, water, soils and air;
2) To advance the education of the public in subjects relating to sustainable development and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment, and to promote study and research in such subjects provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the public at large.
## **Achievements and performance**
Due to continued slow growth in funds, project activity has been prevented. However, some work has been completed with interns from Keele and Birmingham universities, and the trustees and Executive Officer have continued their fundraising activities and growing the profile of the charity. A new volunteer has joined the team to boost the skills, knowledge and experience, and a formal fundraising and development strategy process has been initiated.
## **Financial Review**
The financial statements cover the charity's second period since incorporation and the trustees aim to increase income going forward.
The charity has received limited services from Green Planet Ventures Ltd during the period which has supported the activities of the charity.
A corporate donation of £300 was received from Frazer-Nash Consultancy Limited: the first corporate donation received.
