The Trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021.
The trustees present their report with financial statement of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2021. The trustees Have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended practices applicable to Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1[st] January 2015).
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY
The principal activity of the charity in the whole year review was the advancement of religion for the public benefit.

The trustees have responsibility for ensuring that there are effective risk management and systems of internal control in place to manage the Charity’s major risks and support the achievement of our strategic objectives.

STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Holmcroft Malayalam Pentecostal Church is a Charitable incorporated organisation and was registered as a charity on 21 April 2020. The Charity is controlled by its governing document and constitutes a charity.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Holmcroft Malayalam Pentecostal Church’s principle aims, and objectives are to promote the advancement of the Christian Religion in accordance with the basis of faith primarily but not exclusively among children and elderly public in the United Kingdom and India through regular Sunday worshiping services weekly prayer meetings, Sunday school and lectures. Broadcasting, producing and distribution literature and providing grants to individuals or organisation carrying similar object.
The objectives will be carried out through the provision of places of worship, raising awareness and understanding of religious Beliefs and practices, carrying out religious devotional acts, carrying out outreach work, the provision of places of worship, pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, the provision of a youth club with a Christian ethos.
The report was prepared in accordance with the special provisions with part 15 of the Companies Act 2006.

For the year ending 31 December 2021 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - Small Entities.

1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES
1a. Statutory information
HOLMCROFT MALAYALAM PENTECOSTAL CHURCH is a charity registration number 1189152. The registered office is 4[ Douglas Drive, Shirley, Croydon, CR0 8PS, UNITED] KINGDOM.
1b. Basis of Accounting
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102- The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the companies Act 2006 and the requirements of recommended practice. Accounting and Reporting by Charities.
1c. Incoming Resources
All incoming resources are included on the Statement of Financial Activities when the charity is legally entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy.
1d. Resources Expended
Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the Category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to headings, they have been allocated to activities on a basis consistent with the use of resources.
1e. Allocation and Apportionment of Costs
All Costs relate to eh single activity of the charitable company and are recognized accordingly.
1f. Fund Accounting
Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees. Restricted funds can only be used for restricted purposes within the objects of the charity. Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for restricted purposes. Designated funds are funds by the trustees our of unrestricted general funds for the specific future purposes or projects.
1g. Turnover
Income represents the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company; net of Value added Tax and trade discounts.

3. LIMITED BY GURANTEE
The company is limited by guarantee and does not have share capital. Each member gives a guarantee to contribute a sum not exceeding £1, to the company should it be wound up on 31 December 2021 there were 3 members.
