|||The charity is an approved learning provider<br>under the Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme.<br>Enhanced Learning Credits can be used for<br>training qualifcatons at NVQ level 3 or higher.<br>The Private Pilot’s Licence is recognised as NVQ<br>level 3 equivalent . All other courses afer PPL<br>are therefore considered to be higher than<br>NVQ level 3.<br>The charity ofers a scholarship programme.<br>The charity ofers bursaries.<br>The charity provides fying as a recreatonal and<br>social facility, with a strong emphasis on<br>maintaining high standards.<br>The charity is run by the members for the<br>members. The costs are therefore signifcantly<br>reduced.<br>The charity is a not for proft organisaton. All<br>surpluses are ploughed back into the charity to<br>keep the fying as inexpensive as possible and<br>ofer further educaton and training.<br>Membership of the Club is by subscripton.<br>Membership from the most junior ranks to<br>Senior NCO is free. Ofcers pay an annual<br>subscripton of £140 and civilians pay £190.<br>This is intended, in part, to encourage young<br>serviceman to learn to fy and enhance their<br>career opportunites. Likewise the Club is able<br>to ofer fying training to personnel leaving the<br>armed forces who wish to pursue a career in<br>aviaton.|
