**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE PROMOTION OF EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN BY THE PROVISION AND SUPPORT OF FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE EFFICIENCY AND WELL BEING OF SERVICE PERSONNEL.

**Activities:** The aims of LFC are to allow HM Forces personnel, along with a limited number of civilian Members and others deemed eligible for Membership, an opportunity to obtain flying instruction and recreational flying in light aircraft as economically as possible. LFC is open to all ranks, and provides a chance to acquire flying skills whilst developing airmanship and promoting an interest in flying.
