**Appointment of Trustees:** New Trustees are appointed by Newark and Sherwood District Council (6) and Southwell Town Council (3) at annual meeOngs in the Spring. 

## **Objec/ves and ac/vi/es** 

The objects of the CIO are: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND, IN PARTICULAR, FOR (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE INHABITANTS OF SOUTHWELL AND DISTRICT, THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A SWIMMING POOL, SPORTS HALL AND SUCH OTHER SPORTING, RECREATIONAL AND COMMUNITY FACILITIES AS THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER APPROPRIATE FROM TIME-TO-TIME IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

## **Achievements and performance** 

The CIO was established on 17 April 2020. The intenOon was to transfer the assets and operaOons of an exisOng unincorporated Trust (number 522301) in due course to the CIO. This did not happen during this reporOng period. Therefore the CIO was inacOve for the reporOng period. 

## **Financial review** 

The CIO has had no income nor incurred any expenditure in the reporOng year, because all operaOons remain with the exisOng charity, number 522301
