Financial Review
| Financial Review | ||
|---|---|---|
| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period |
Para 1.21 | The charity made a loss of £7,060. It holds cash in the bank worth £3,279. The loss was a result primarily of the choir’s participation in the Cornwall Festival which was expensive, both in terms of participation and travel/accommodation costs. The other significant increase in operating costs came from the move to a new rehearsal venue. The Choir also spent a reasonable amount in new choir clothing, signs/covers and vocal coach fees (the benefit was received in the previous financial year). |
| Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held |
Para 1.22 | The trustees resolved to hold at least one full performing season in reserves. |
