The Object of the charity is to enable people with Downs syndrome in Central Asia to live fulfilling and active lives. The charity seeks to raise awareness, distribute health information and provide support to families.

Objects: The Charity’s Objects (‘Objects’) Are Specifically Restricted To Preserve And Protect The Health Of People With Down’s Syndrome In Central Asia By: 1. Ensuring That Parents, Family Members, Health Workers And People With Down’s Syndrome Have The Knowledge And Attitudes Needed To Understand Health Issues, Have Access To Professional Services And Equipment, And Are Engaged In Taking Proactive Measures To Stay Healthy And To Resolve Problems As They Arise. 2. Ensuring People (And Their Mothers’ And Families) With Down’s Syndrome Are Able To Take An Active Part In An Inclusive Society, Whether At Nursery School, School, In The Workplace And In General Life. That People With Down’s Syndrome Feel Loved In A Supportive And Caring Family Environment. 3. Raising Awareness: Understanding And Acceptance; That Society Is Aware, Knowledgeable And Supportive Of The Positive And Fulfilling Lives That People With Down’s Syndrome Can Live. That Provision Of Support From Government, Institutions And Civil Society Is Properly Targeted. That People With Down’s Syndrome And Their Families Don’t Feel Shame Or Blame, But Instead Feel Confident In Their Community And Wider Society.4. Providing Family Support: That The Parents And Family Members Of People With Down’s Syndrome Are Supported, Empowered, Celebrate The Achievements Of People With Down’s Syndrome, And Have Access To The Equipment And Specialists That They Need. That Those Children Without Parents, Living In Institutions Are Also Supported.5. Providing Learning And Development: That People With Down’s Syndrome Have Access To Activities That Support Their Personal Development, Improve Their Communication Abilities, Provide Them With Skills For Working, Keep Them Active And Support Their Education. That Parents, Family Members And Professionals Have Access To Training Materials And Training That Support The Development Of People With Down’s Syndrome.most Of The Activities Of The Charity Are Expected To Take Part In The Republic Of Tajikistan And Countries Of Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan. However, This Is Not Limiting, And Activities Can Be Undertaken Worldwide, As Long As They Contribute To The Object Of The Charity. (Nothing In These Articles Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The Charity For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2015 And/or Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008).
