**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT IN AND AROUND NEWBURY, BERKSHIRE AND THE PROMOTION OF BIODIVERSITY OF ALL WILD NATIVE FLORA AND FAUNA, BY WORKING WITH LANDOWNERS AND PUBLIC BODIES TO OBTAIN THE NECESSARY PERMISSION TO UNDERTAKE CONSERVATION WORK USING VOLUNTEERS.

**Activities:** Working with local land owners and the community to improve wildlife habitat and increase biodiversity. Educate and engage with the public to increase appreciation of the natural world and the part we can all play in protecting it. Improving safe and accessible spaces for the enjoyment and appreciation of nature.
