(b) Providing support and activities, which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. |

The young people we have been supporting continued to receive mentoring and resources support. In addition, a laptop donated by a well- wisher was given to a young person to help in her higher studies. Nalam Vaala donated learning materials to 25 students from a school in Thambalawathai in Batticaloa, Eastern Sri Lanka. This school is in a very deprived area and the recipients of these donations have no living parents. Cost of this activity was £135 Nalam Vaala also donated exercise books to 50 students age ranging from 5 to 15 years old from a deprived area in Amparai district in Eastern Sri Lanka. The beneficiaries of these donations were identified by the school as most needed. Cost of this activity was £223. |
