(b) Providing support and activities, which
develop their skills, capacities and
capabilities to enable them to participate in

The young people we have been supporting
continued to receive mentoring and
resources support.
In addition, 3 laptops donated by well-
wishers were given to young people to help
in their higher studies.
Our co-ordinator identified that a number of
children of a particular nursery school in a
very deprived area are struggling without
adequate resources. We are in discussion
with that school with regard to supporting the
children.
We organised a charity walk in London in
September 2022 and raised about £715
through crowd funding.
During this reporting period, we are pursuing
to register our organisation as a Trust in Sri
Lanka.
We are also planning to launch a pilot
project (English literacy after-school non-
formal-learning project) soon.

commencing the twice-delayed pilot English
literacy project with a school with most children
from disadvantaged backgrounds. After
recovering from the COVID crisis, Sri Lanka
was engulfed in economic and political crisis
resulting in the government administration was
paralysedfor mostof 2022.
