In July we had a visit from LCSG – “Local Community Support Grant” provider. They were very happy with the support we provide for our Day Centre members and gave us an outstanding review of our activities.
Quote: “I spoke to 9 members of the group. All echoed the same sentiment telling me how much this group means to them and prevented them from being lonely, isolated and how this group breaks up their week and is what they look forward to. One had endured several years of isolation and therefore really appreciated how much this group now enhances her life.
There was lots of mention of the friendships formed here and how it feels like a little community with support and companionship. Apart from the social aspect, they really enjoyed all the activities.
One-member works at another Church and said how envious he was of what this group has managed to create as the good atmosphere is always so friendly and warm.”
