Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts:
Experience Community seeks to help people with a disability access to the outdoors through a range of walking, cycling, arts and conservation activities for mental and physical wellbeing, to reduce social isolation and help build our participants daily confidence.
The main activities run through the charity are fortnightly rambles using all-terrain wheelchairs known as Mountain Trikes that enable disabled people access the outdoors. During the period 30[th] April 2022 - 29[th] April 2023 we ran 15 Rambles that supported 143 participants and their families and friends. We also provided a Lowland Leader Course and in-house training for our Ramble Leaders to facilitate our activities.
We organised three residential trips including a Mountain Trike Ramble trip and a cycling trip at Kielder Forest and an Off-Road Cycling Trip to take part in the renowned ‘Dirty Reiver’ 65km gravel event.
Staff time for organising and running our rambles and residential trips has been donated from Experience Community CIC, for which we are grateful, as without this support we wouldn’t be able to undertake our work. We are also extremely thankful to all of the volunteers who have supported our activities throughout the year.

We also collaborated with Nikon School of Photography to provide 2 photography taster and training days along the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve as well as several community gardening days at our offices in the village of Slaithwaite and at Tunnel End Woods, Marsden.
Special thanks are extended to Peter Hiscock, John Summerville, Jen Lonsdale and Darren Gladstone for their superb fundraising. Many thanks also to the Bruce Wake Charitable Trust and Craghoppers Clothing for their donations both financially and in kind.
