FINANCIAL REVIEW
The principal source of CYCALL funding is from Restri¢ted Grants awardcd for a designated PUTP05e_ Thes¢ funds are
supplemented by volunteer5 attendino local community events. voluntary donatli)DS and selling of donated goods at Car

The fi￿dIng has allowed CYCALL to remain in a stable f]nancial siiuation and h&8 rnel many of ts￿r operational costs
including refreshmenw insurance, bike and site maintenance and voluntccr training costs. We have also purchased a mobile
hoist which will enable even more people to access the jo) of cycling. We hav¢ also received a positive funding d¢cision
froln thc Worthing Community Infrastyc￿rc L£vy which will allow u5 to site an additional container to bc used ￿ a
pemanent office space. meeting room and sensory Space. We have ordered a tlew 2 seated. side by side companion bske
which will allow us to inGr¢ase capaciry to merf demand.
For this f￿ancial period the Mayor of Worthing chose CYCALL as one of his local charities to support for his year of office.
Fundtai5ing events were held throughout the ycar including quiz nighrs, a cury nighi 80's night and a hiltory walk led by
the Town Crier.
The Trustets of CYCALL would lthe to thaJ)k Cl]r Jon Roser for his support during his Mtyoral Year.
The CYCALL a¢¢ounts will see a 'Retum on InYesthJent' during the nexi f￿ancial period &8 the transfer of funds raised will
be made to the CYCALL bank account. Members of CYCALL workcd closely with 2 other local organisètions. Broadwater
Support Group & Community Hub and the local branch of Parkirlson's UK who were also chosen by Cllr Roser. The three
organisations wish to continue to 5UPPOrt each other and WO￿ touether ￿ benefit the local community. The ￿]MinatIOn of
the year of 5UPPOrt was a comrnunity fihnday and sponsored cycle ride hosted by CYCALL at Brookland5 Park. We were
extyemely grateful to local organi5ations who attended the eYenL Cyclo Analysis ran a Dr Bike session oftering free b￿e
health check5 and NeighEK>uthood Watch/Sussex Police offered a free bike markiEIE ses510n.
The CYCALL community and Supporte￿ a150 engaged in personaI challenges and rnised fimds via Just GivÈng page%. This

documents and are reviewed and ulxlated on a r¢gular b&si5. The stsuctur¢ and oov¢rnance procedures help lo secure a
suslainable future for CYCALL.
At the wish of the Trllstees. CYCAII stssions continue to be free to prevent financial exclusion. This situation is monitored
and at present more donations ar¢ given at each sessRon tham would be taken &8 a payment for a session.

Organisational strueture
CYCALL has a board of 5 TnJstEes. Tbe Truste￿ meet 4 illnes a year and hold a General Meeting annually. The next
Gtnerdl Meeiillts will be held in (kiober 2024.
According to the chariiies governino document there must ￿ at le&st three chariry trustees. If the number falls below this
minimum, the remaining truS￿e or trustees may aci only to call a ¥neetÉng of the charity trustees. or appoint a n¢w charity
trustee. The m&ximum nuTnb¢r of charity trustees is 9. Th¢ charity trll5tees may not appoint any charity trustee if as a reS￿1t
the number of charity trjstees would exceed the m&Kimum. Apart frotn the first charity trustees. every trustee must be
appointed Ifor a ierrn of three yearsl by a resolution passed ai a properly convened meeting of ihe charity trustees. In
